Offline
Works without an internet connection
TryToPDF processes files on your device, so once a tool has been loaded it does not need the network again. Turning your connection off is the simplest proof that nothing is being uploaded.
Checking what’s saved…
How it works
- 1
Open a tool while you have a connection. The application and the processing engine it needs are downloaded.
- 2
Both are saved on your device. Nothing is downloaded twice.
- 3
After that the tool runs whether you are connected or not. Your files were never leaving your device anyway.
What offline does not mean
- A tool you have never opened is not saved yet, and cannot run offline until you have opened it once with a connection.
- Clearing your browser's site data removes the saved copy, and you will need a connection again to restore it.
- The panel above reports what is actually on this device. It is read from storage, not assumed.
- On Safari, saved data is removed automatically after seven days without a visit, unless you add TryToPDF to your Home Screen. That is a Safari policy applying to every website, not a TryToPDF setting.
Tools that work offline
Every tool TryToPDF has built runs entirely on your device. None of them need a server, so all of them work offline once opened.
