Every PDF site says your documents are safe. Here are three ways to check ours without taking our word for it.

  • Turn off your internet

    Load a tool once, then disconnect. Merge, split and compress keep working. Nothing that needs a server can survive that test.

  • Watch the network tab

    Open your browser's developer tools and process a file. No request is made, because the page is served with a policy that forbids one.

  • Read the policy header

    Tool pages ship a Content Security Policy restricting connections to this origin. Uploading isn't declined by us — it's refused by your browser.

The first time you open a tool, its processing engine is downloaded and kept on your device. After that the tool runs whether you are connected or not — on a plane, on a train, or on hotel wifi that has given up.
